From July 11 to 13, 2025, Bad Goisern once again transformed into the mecca of the mountain bike and gravel bike scene. At the 28th Salzkammergut Trophy, around 4,000 athletes from 38 nations took to the start, ensuring a weekend full of top athletic achievements, emotions, and unforgettable moments.
Perfect weather conditions, challenging routes, and the unique scenery of the Salzkammergut once again made the event one of the largest mountain bike events in Europe.
DOWE in the thick of it – together with the SPORTaktiv team
For many years, DOWE has been a proud outfitter of the SPORTaktiv team, which once again started with a strong squad in 2025. Around 50 riders wore our specially developed DOWE Carbon Pro team jersey in the exclusive SPORTaktiv design.
Their efforts paid off: The team achieved an excellent 2nd place in the Slow-Motion Team classification and once again demonstrated that team spirit, passion, and high-quality equipment go perfectly together.
Impressive athletic performances
On the ten different marathon and gravel routes, around 3,600 participants tackled distances between 22 and 204 kilometers. Particularly on the legendary extreme distance with over 7,000 meters of altitude, athletes were pushed to their limits.
There was also cause for celebration within the SPORTaktiv team: Gerhard Lehner, who has been loyal to the team for many years, once again delivered a strong performance and secured a top spot in his age group.
