Coordinated
All of our materials are subject to precise selection criteria regarding breathability, windproofness, and thermal comfort. This ensures optimal wearing comfort and perfect functionality in any weather. Whether it’s a short-sleeve jersey, wind vest, or jacket— the functionality of the products works seamlessly together, maintaining performance in every layer. We have carefully coordinated our products so you can wear them in combination.
Functional Layer I is located directly on the skin and actively regulates moisture transport.
Functional Layer II regulates the body’s temperature with optimal performance. It protects against cooling and transports moisture outward. Ideal for colder days as a warming layer, it is worn over Layer I.
Functional Layer III is wind- and water-repellent. Additionally, it offers excellent air circulation and breathability. The membrane system, combining Layers I, II, and III, withstands the harshest weather conditions. It is optimal for wet, cold, and windy days.
High-Tech Production
Gentle Printing
Using our high-tech Nano-DOWE printing technology, the ink penetrates deeply into the fibers of the fabric without damaging it. The low-temperature process preserves the functionality of the material, allowing you to enjoy your sportswear for a long time. Additionally, we can print any text with sharp detail, including multicolor designs, photo prints, and gradients. To achieve brilliant color results, we offer a selection from over 1,000 Pantone colors, including fluorescent shades.
Our development starts with selecting the right materials. Our products incorporate a range of functional fabrics, whether eVent®, Powerlycra®, DOWE® blend fabrics with carbon, or other high-quality materials. We ensure that these fabrics are suitable for their intended use and provide the best possible support for athletes.
Sustainable
Recycled Materials
Reducing our ecological footprint is a personal priority for us. From the beginning, we have used materials such as 100% recycled polyester, and we are continuously working to become even more resource-efficient, all while maintaining high functionality standards. To ensure that you can enjoy your DOWE sportswear products for as long as possible, we conduct numerous tests to guarantee a long product lifespan. Additionally, we produce items with precise fit to avoid excess product and material.

DOWE Design & Werbung has been a successful advertising partner for industry, craftsmanship, and retail since 1993.
2007
WERKSTEAM – The DOWE Sportswear team with four riders was founded. The inspiration was to participate in more long-distance races, gain more experience, and create the right clothing for every athletic challenge.
2008
Enduro / DH – We developed specialized cuts and introduced breathable fabrics like the recycled ND-Performance fabric.
2012

How It All Began & Where We Come From
Martin Vetter, the founder of DOWE, was always out and about, whether on a racing bike, mountain bike, or just enjoying nature. His passion for extreme cycling repeatedly brought him face-to-face with a common problem—there was no adequate sportswear for extreme athletes. In 2003, this led him to develop the idea of creating his own sportswear for ultra-distance events. More functionality, a better fit, higher comfort, and no problem areas—something you put on and don’t even feel. This was the basic idea, and it remains the foundation of our approach today.

DOWE Sportswear Today – Where We Stand Now
Today, Bundesliga triathlon clubs, professional cycling teams, and recreational cyclists alike order from us and express high levels of satisfaction. Thanks to close collaboration with athletes, clubs, and companies, as well as feedback on our products, DOWE Sportswear has established itself in the team apparel market. Continuous development of designs and materials has allowed us to expand our product range, from high-end products to casual and outdoor clothing, as well as triathlon and swim suits.
