Extensive studies in the field of electrostatic discharge (ESD) have shown that the problem of controlling static electricity and variable electric fields applies to any type of environment. The human organism is affected by these natural phenomena.

In fact, the electrical charges circulating throughout our bodies are responsible for numerous adverse effects. Resistex® Carbon prevents the transfer of electrical charges to the body, thus preventing muscle twitches, cramps, and fatigue. Carbon improves the human body's electrical performance by promoting blood circulation and regularly supplying cells with oxygen.

The properties of highly conductive Resistex® Carbon also improve moisture distribution and promote sweat evaporation. The less moisture that comes into contact with the skin, the greater the feeling of well-being.

Tests

Numerous tests were conducted in collaboration with Dr. David Susta, scientific director of the Training Development Center in Como. The tests compared the Resistex® Carbon jersey with other polyester jerseys worn by a group of athletes during training in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment. The athletes wearing Resistex® Carbon exhibited a three-degree lower
temperature.

Respiratory parameters were improved in those wearing Resistex® Carbon. For these athletes, oxygen demand was reduced by 3 liters per minute, improving the respiratory quotient. The heart rate of the athletes wearing Resistex® Carbon was below 4 beats per minute compared to the others. In a 4-hour run, this translates to approximately 1,000 fewer heartbeats. Lactic acid concentration in capillary blood was also measured, resulting in approximately 12% less acid in those wearing Resistex® Carbon.

Resistex® Carbon has been shown to increase the efficiency of technical sportswear and the athlete's muscular performance. Resistex® Carbon is a high-performance material, particularly in disciplines that require prolonged physical exertion over time and in high ambient temperatures.

The athlete's performance, defined as the percentage of metabolic energy that the muscular system can convert into mechanical energy, remains constant and even tends to increase during the 30-minute effort wearing the Resistex® Carbon shirt. Specifically, a performance increase of 24.68% was observed after 15 minutes compared to 24.93% after 30 minutes.

If you wear a polyester jersey, your performance tends to decline over time during exercise. Resistex® Carbon delays the onset of fatigue during exercise.
