Our Mission
Our oceans are overflowing with plastic waste, and it must not continue! At DOWE, we also want to contribute to solving this problem. That’s why we now produce several sportswear items made 100% from recycled PET. DOWE aims to gradually make all products more sustainable and resource-efficient.
In this mission, we have partnered with ORDL (Oriental Resources Development Limited) from Taiwan, a major provider of PET recycling. The company has adopted the “Reduce, Recycle, Replace” system as its guiding principle and plays a key role in PET recycling in Southeast Asia.
In their facilities, discarded bottles are sorted by color, washed, and shredded. After a purity check, the material is spun into high-quality yarn suitable for clothing production. This yarn is used in many renowned sports products worldwide. This production method is more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient than using raw materials.
