Lukas Kaufmann: Season Goals 2026

On February 5, 2026, Austrian ultra-cyclist Lukas Kaufmann presented his athletic goals for the 2026 season and unveiled his new jersey for the first time at a press conference in the LASK Stadium, specifically in the IMMOunited Loge (Business Club) in Linz.

Kaufmann, who has already achieved two second-place finishes in the legendary Race Across America, provided a comprehensive insight into his season planning and once again emphasized his ambitions in international ultra-cycling. In addition to national classics, the 2026 program also includes high-profile international competitions.

“The 2026 season is athletically very diverse. My focus is on long distances and selected classics. I am particularly pleased that this season includes a good mix of mountain bike and road bike races,” said Lukas Kaufmann during the press conference.

Already at the beginning of the year, Lukas Kaufmann demonstrated his versatility: at the Mountain Attack in Saalbach, he achieved a strong result with 15th place, setting an athletic exclamation mark.

• Apr 25, 2026: Mallorca 312 (Cycling Marathon), Spain
• May 22-23, 2026: Rund um Sachsen (Ultracycling European Championship), Germany
• Jun 20-21, 2026: Heavy24 (MTB), Germany
• Jul 18, 2026: Salzkammergut Trophy (MTB), Austria
• Aug 11-15, 2026: Race Around Austria (Ultracycling World Championship), Austria
• Sep 6, 2026: Kitzbüheler Radmarathon (Cycling Marathon), Austria
