Race Around Austria 2026 - Falko Kunze
The RACA1000 North-South is a brutal race. 1000 km, 15,000 meters of elevation, and no external support. You have to manage everything yourself. The route leads from Linz to the northernmost point of Austria in Litschau, then down to the southernmost point in Eisenkappel, through Carinthia, over the Sölk Pass, through Styria, and back to Linz.
If you want to ride this, you need to think it through carefully beforehand.
After 71 hours and 16 minutes, I rolled into the finish line in Linz.
Would I do it again? Yes. Without question.
